Education

At Centire, we consider the ongoing education and development of our employees an indispensable condition for the company to move forward successfully. We devote a lot of attention to our new junior colleagues, we place a great emphasis on obtaining basic specialist and communication skills, as well as paying attention to our senior colleagues, where we concentrate more on developing management and leadership skills.

Education takes place in various forms, starting with classic training courses, through on-the-job training, coaching and mentoring and knowledge sharing.

By providing education, we support the complex development of each employee, i.e. specialist skills, as well as soft skills. Our aim is for employees to have developed competencies necessary to successfully deal with the tasks at whatever position they hold.

At the beginning of each year, we prepare a training plan and plan courses and training for each employee individually. Their work position, specialisation, training attended as well as their requests are taken into account.

We must not forget that education is everyone’s business. Centire provides you with the space – how you use it is up to you.

Project for employee training and development

THE PROJECT IS CO-FINANCED BY THE EUROPEAN UNION

Centire applied for a non-returnable financial contribution from the European Social Fund (www.esf.gov.sk) as part of the operational programme Integrated Programme Document Bratislava Target 3, as part of measure 2.1. i.e. Stimulating and Upgrading Education for the Needs of Employers and the Business Sector, the result of which is the realisation of a high-quality project aimed at educating the company’s employees entitled “Development of Management, Language, IT and Communication Knowledge and Skills of Centire, s.r.o. Employees in Order to Increase Competitiveness and Flexibility”.

The aim of this project is above all to improve the quality of employee education and skills, to strengthen their position in the changing, competitive environment of the work market and in relation to this, to strengthen Centire’s position on the market by increasing the quality of services offered. The intention is not only to increase the qualification potential of company employees, but also to improve the implemented system of employee training, to improve the quality and reliability of services provided, which will result in a growth in client satisfaction with services offered and, last but not least, to increase the ability of target groups to assert themselves on the job market. This project, co-financed by the European Social Fund, is divided into three independent parts from the point of view of the specialist focus of educational activities.

Activity 1: Education focused on improving management skills for management employees.

Activity 2: Education in the sphere of IT skills and language knowledge.

Activity 3: Courses in the field of professional training

Ø       Module 3.1: Education in the field of business and communication skills

Ø      Module 3.2: Education in the field of obtaining specialist and economic knowledge and skills

Courses which are part of the project are not only focused on developing employees’ general knowledge, but also on acquiring the specific skills and knowledge needed to increase the efficiency and quality of their work. The problems to be dealt with and the contents of the course were identified based on a thorough survey of the company’s needs with a view towards its future direction as well as to the individual needs of the employees when carrying out their position. The training project is aimed at all employees of the company, while participation in individual courses is determined based on the relevance of the course content for the position they hold within the company.

The end of the project realisation is planned for June 2008.

Lifelong Education in the Field of IT Management

THE PROJECT IS CO-FINANCED BY THE EUROPEAN UNION

Lifelong education in the field of IT management is the name of a project which our company has been implementing since January 2007 as part of the Common Programme Document Bratislava target 3, priority 2 – Development of Lifelong Education and Support for the Development of Research and Development in the context of increasing the quality of human resources. The project is co-financed by the ESF.

At present, business processes in all organisations require the services of information and communication technology (so-called IT services) to run efficiently. For this reason, the project focus is concentrated on defining, creating and accrediting a modular training programme in the field of IT management whose structure will allow IT university students and teachers to increase their qualification, as well as provide further education for professionals working in the area of IT management. At the same time, the project also deals with the creation of an eLearning portal, thus contributing to the expansion of innovative forms of education in the SR and enabling a quick and efficient access to the training programme. Providing the training programme via the eLearning portal also provides the opportunity to create discussion groups for individual modules, which contribute to further deepening knowledge, the exchange of specialist experience and the transfer of know-how. The training programme’s structure will be made up of 12 modules which will be proposed individually or in three complex programmes according to the specifications of individual target groups. The modules will contain know-how transfer of the latest world trends in the field of IT management, thus ensuring an increase in the adaptability and competitiveness of Slovak companies against their ever more dynamic competition from other EU member states.

The project’s ambition is to contribute to a better connection between practice and study in the field of IT management, as well as to improve the preparation process of professionals in the field of IT management by using elements of distance learning, eLearning and knowledge management.

The length of the project is planned for 19 months (planned conclusion in June 2008).
