The Centire company has supported selected quality and useful social activities since its establishment.
During last years we mainly suport:
NAPS
Centire supports youth education and youth cretaive mental activities and helps to implement these activities in the field of culture, protection and development of mental values togetehr with the cooperation of NAPS civil association.
Within NAPS we support following activities:
- september 2007: publication of the book The Beauty swears in the metal by Peter Solej.
- október 2007: III. NAPS International ecumenical concert of sacral vocals 2007.
THE BEAUTY SWEARAS IN METAL – Peter Solej
The Centire company within social responsibility naturally acctepted the possibility to take part in distribution of knowledge about the cultural heritage of Slovak Republic through co-funding of book The Beauty swears in metal by Peter Solej. This representative book presents the work of unique and the oldest constantly working slovak mint in Kremnica. The book The Beauty swears in metal is dedicated to the memory of three visists of Slovakia by Holy father John Paul II . The book was published under the auspices of His Excellency Ľubomír Jahnátek, the minister of Economy of the Slovak Republic. He has decided to use the book for representation of Slovak Republic abroad. Because of the publication of the book The beauty swears in metal ceremonial organ concert by prof. Ján Vladimír Michalko in Bratislava castle.

III. NAPS International ecumenical concert of sacral vocals 2007
On Thursday, October 4, 2007 III. NAPS International ecumenical concert of sacral vocals 2007 was held at Jonáš Záborský Theatre in Prešov and through projection it can also be seen in the sqaure in front of the theatre. The concert was held under the auspicis of presidents of national parliaments of Slovak Republic and Hungary their exceliencies Mrs. Katalin Szili and Mr. Pavol Paška.
European Centre of Management
Centire is the main partner of the realization of projects concerning benchmarking initiative and benchmarking of elementary schools project, which are carried out by Civil association European Management Centre.
The aim of Benchmarking town initiative is to create the space for exchange of experience and solutions of common issues to increase quality and performance in self-government and to form good partnership.
The aim of Benchmarking of elementary schools is to create a dynamic platform for the comparison of their outputs (the indicators of benchmarking) for the purpose of identifying possibilities of improvement of these outputs.
UNICEF
Centire has supported Unicef idea through the purchase of Christmas postcards and small presents for many years.
Unicef postcards are closely connected with Czechoslovakia. The idea, that they could become a smart source of income for humanitarian help, originated from small child’s drawing from Czechoslovak village. Jitka Samková thanked for the help provided by Unicef in the year 1947. After several decades these postcards have become famous and sold all over the world. Since 1949 3, 5 billions of them have been sold. They have brought the Unicef treasure-chest – as a way of helping children - a considerable sum.
Foundation Help for Children
Centire has supported Foundation Help for Children in Danger for a long time. Foundation Help for Children is a nongovernmental and nonprofit organization whose role is to help children who found themselves in danger. The vision of founders of Foundation Help for Children in Danger is to give helping hand to all Slovak children who are in direct or indirect danger of life. Foundation sources are limited and thus the Foundation Help for Children in Danger helps mainly particular children in danger and not organizations, foundations, fellowships and civil associations.

Diplomatic golf tournament 2007
Centire supported 3rd year of Diplomatic golf tournament which was held on october 7, 2007 in golf club Spa in Piešťany. The event was organized by Správa služieb diplomatického zboru, a.s. and also Centire representaives took part in this tournament.
Diplomatic tennis tournament 2007
Centire was main partner of Diplomatic tennis tournament which was held on september 21.-22., 2007 in Bratislava (TJ Slávia STU, Májova street 21). The event was organized by Správa služieb diplomatickému zboru, a.s.
The Diplomatic tennis tournament in part of the Bratislava tennis calendar with long tradition and popularity. Tournament was held under the auspices of Slovak Secretary of State. A lot of famous people took part in this tournament. Climax of this event is tennis exhibition between the previous winners of this tournament, famous people fom politics and famous sportsmen. This year winner in double is our colleague Ján Trgala with his partner Martin Kordoš.
Business Luncheon with Mr. Igor Barát
On May 15th 2007, we supported a lunch combined with a press conference entitled Speaking on the Subject of Slovakia on Adopting the Euro in 2009, with the mandatory of the government of the SR for the introduction of the Euro: Mr. Igor Barát, which took place in the Pallfy palace in Bratislava.
The event was also attended by our colleagues and they replied to questions linked to the adoption of the Euro in the Slovak Republic. The lecture provided a summary of basic information on the passage to the Euro. The presentation’s ambition was to spread relevant information on this subject.
