The Trabein project
Short description
Project name:
Transfer of best-practice and innovation in quality management (also described with the acronym “TRABEIN”)
Project objective:
Aim of this project is to inspire and help Slovak and Czech organisations on their way to sustainable competitiveness. This overall objective is to be achieved by offering managers a training course (not an academic course), that significantly contributes to the transfer of tangible examples and best practices from EFQM awarded organisations.
Project results:
- Set of Management Training Courses based on each EFQM model criteria, with the relevant cases based on the awarded best practices.
- Participants’ handbook, course materials as well as the trainer materials will be based on the 9 EFQM criteria.
- An eLearning portal will be developed as a supporting self study resource across the training modules. The eLearning Portal will incorporate a web-based game feature to facilitate cross-learning among course participants.
Best practice cases developed will have the following structure:
- Background information on the company
- Approach: The what and how of the key processes (including how it was planned, implemented, reviewed and improved)
- Why it was done (benefits / achieved results)
- Lessons learnt
Other project information:
The training course will be available in English, Slovak and Czech languages. Improvement and changes will be identified in the training course pilot with 40 managers involved. The training course will be regularly reviewed with participants’ feedback as the main source of information. Eventually, it is hoped that the training developed will be proposed for accreditation in Slovak and Czech markets, as well as could be delivered via EFQM’s network of partners.
