Performance management

In house training

In current management practice, three basic approaches to the performance management in an organisation have broken through. If the organisation is a so-called small or medium-sized business, or if the organisation’s core business is not diversified from the point of view of processes into many production or service areas differing from each other, then it is very likely that it is fully suited to the performance management in an organisation according to the MBO (Management By Objectives) method. If it is an organisation which must carry out a large amount of different processes, or if it is a large organisation, then it is effective to consider implementing a system of performance management in an organisation called “measuring an organisation’s performance based on processes” (Performance Measurement).

The most complex approach to the performance management in an organisation is the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) method which uses the positive features of the previous two approaches and supplements them with the most effective solution for connecting the performance of the whole organisation to its strategic goals.

The above-mentioned approaches of performance management are the subject of a two-day training course with illustrations from projects carried out and with relatively extensive practical exercises. In the event of interest, it is possible to concentrate more on a chosen method with the support of a practical example.
