Optimisation of the Management and Organisation of Small and Medium-sized Businesses
Our company continued in 2006 too with the organisation of short presentations, always focused on one of the fields of management. The presentations conceived in this way met with much success among you and we hope that we can carry on this tradition we have built up in the next period, too.
In 2006, we carried out a presentation “Optimisation of the Management and Organisation of Small and Medium-sized Businesses” in Bratislava, Banská Bystrica and Košice.
The main aim of the presentation was to provide participants with information on the possibilities of optimising and making more efficient the company’s management and organisational system depending on its size and the difficulties of the processes carried out.
The presentation was aimed at participants who:
- manage a rapidly growing company which requires radical changes in its organisational and management system,
- have problems with employee motivation when managing employees who are often dissatisfied for no reason according to the management’s point of view, where fluctuation is between 5 and 10%, people are dissatisfied with the salary system and so on,
- have problems with the growth of the company they manage; the company is not able to meet the growing demands of customers,
- manage a company which is losing its turnover due to loss of customers and markets.
What is an analysis of the current level of management and organisation in a company (organisational audit)?
An organisational audit is a methodical process of carrying out a consulting project, thanks to which it is possible to identify the initial situation in the organisation, management and motivation of employees in the company analysed.
When carrying out the organisational audit, two methods are used:
- method of managed interviews with a selected circle of employees,
- an anonymous opinion survey of employees.
The output of both above-mentioned methods is used to make up the results of the organisational audit which usually contains:
- an assessment of the current situation in the areas analysed
- a suggestion of changes and measures in the shape of recommendations for individual problems identified,
- a suggestion of an approach to implement changes and measures.
