Kvalita v IT 2005
In 2003, the first edition of the Quality in IT seminar took place, whose ambition was to create a platform and space which was lacking at the time for specialists dealing with problems in the quality of information systems and software development to meet. Based on experiences from previous years, the seminar proved its worth and topicality from the point of view of the problems and subjects defined. To follow on from this fact, we decided in 2004 and then in 2005 to organise a third edition entitled Quality in IT (QIT 2005).
Our ambition was driven by the effort to continue developing positive impulses from the previous year; on the other hand, our main goal was to enrich it with new information and topics. This seminar’s key topic was above all the presentation of basic recourses and the presumed future development of technical standardisation in the field of information technology and software engineering, which leads above all to an increase in the quality and efficiency of information technology use.
The target and aim of the seminar:
- to present the recourses and targets of an information audit of selected institutions of state administration and its anticipated future influence on process and technical standardisation focused on suppliers of information technology for the state and public sectors,
- to present key international norms and standards for information technology and software engineering,
- to present selected standards focused on correct practice in operating information technology.
The seminar was mainly aimed at:
- IT companies,
- Operators of large information systems,
- Institutions of state and public administration,
- Consulting and certification organisations,
- Academic field.
