An important activity of the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Liberec is support for the development of a business environment and increasing the competitiveness and adaptability of the private sector. As part of the project Partnership for the Liberec region (www.parterstvi-lk.cz), the RCC of Liberec prepared an education programme on the subject of “preparing and carrying out projects co-financed by EU structural funds.” ,

   

An introductory conference was also part of the programme, whose aim was to set up a communication platform with individual participants and provide them with up-to-date information on the possibilities of obtaining non-returnable financial contributions from EU structural funds in the programme period of 2007 to 2013, to familiarise participants with the possibilities of developing business in relation to the strategy of the Liberec region, to information on the stage of preparendness of the Czech Republic and the Liberec region to obtain financial contributions from the Structural Funds and to present the Educational Programme “Structural Fonds and their Use for Businessmen in the Liberec Region”.

  

Expected benefits for participants:

• up-to-date information on the state of preparedness of the Czech Republic to gain subsidies from the EU,

• idea of the possibilities for financing projects,

• meetings with potential partners.
